Mendavia is a villa and a Spanish municipality of the Jurisdiction of Navarre, belonging to the administrative area and merindad of Estella and placed in the geographical region of the Bank of the High Ebro and to 78 km from the capital of the community Pamplona. In 2012 it had a population of 3 726 inhabitants , a surface of 78 km ² and a population density of 48,69 inhabitants for km ².
Placed in a fertile fertile plaine watered by the Ebro and his tributaries, Mendavia stands out for the products of his gardens. The quality of his productions is supported by four names of origin: asparagus, pepper, endrina and grape.
